The NEW Fill Cap Lid with the Duckbill Valve now allows your SureCan Type II Safety Can to breath both in and out. Fuel reacts to temperature changes by expanding when temps increase and contracting when temps decrease (combined gas law). The original safety cap allows the can to release pressure when temperatures go up as per OSHA safety can requirements. The addition of the duckbill valve, now allows the can to pressurize when temperatures drop, preventing the can collapsing by allowing small amounts of air to enter the can.

INSTALLATION
RP018 Instructions
1– Remove the old fill cap lid by firmly holding it down or pull it while lifting up on the fill cap lever
2- Place the new fill cap lid with duckbill valve on the fill cap collar and place the ring over the socket on the lid.
3- Align the ball on the lever with the socket on the fill cap lid.
4- Press down on the fill cap lever until the ball snaps into the socket on the fill cap lid.
